The prototype of this was created out of necessity (couldn’t find flappy spatula). It worked so well that I went right back out to make another one. The flappy spatula was great for getting peanut butter off the sides, but doesn’t work well around the hump. The hump problem is solved with this spatula.
The face of the spatula is meticulously flat so that peanut butter can easily be scraped off at once.
This is specifically designed for Aldi peanut peanut butter containers. However, I believe the angles will work well for most containers that have the hump in the middle of the bottom, and tapered sides at the bottom.
Make no mistake, this is no unitasker. It also works very well as a low-resistence stirring utensil.
Hand wash with dish soap and water. Dry with a towel, then prop up to allow both sides to dry in the open air for a few hours.
DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER.
DO NOT LET SOAK IN WATER.
